It’s more than a retreat.  It’s a movement. A few unforgettable days where the Danger Jones community takes over the beach, turns up the volume, and sets the world on fire... together. We’re beyond stoked (and honestly, a little emotional) to spend this time with you, creating the kind of memories that stick with you long after the sun sets.

Feb 8 - Arrival & Welcome

Day

Check in at the exclusive Danger Jones desk, pick up your welcome drink, limited-edition gift, and event packet. Settle into your room with stunning ocean views, then explore the resort, stroll the beach, or relax by the pool.

Night

Kick off DangerFest at the Poolside Welcome Party with dinner, drinks, and celebrations under the stars with fellow artists.

Feb 9 - Inspiration & Connection

Day

Be inspired by the Danger Jones founders, keynote speaker, a class to get you out of your comfort zone and curated panel discussions. Spend the afternoon unwinding, relaxing, or connecting by the pool.

Night

Enjoy a free evening - dine at one of five resort restaurants with new friends, or grab the mic for karaoke.

Feb 10 - Growth & Celebration

Day

Dive deeper with another keynote speaker ,“TED Talk”-style insights from fellow artists, a look into what is coming, and an artist favorite Q&A with David and Alexis.

Night

Gather for the Danger Jones Family Dinner, followed by a live performance and dance party to close the night in true DangerFest style.

Feb 11 - Departure

Day

Check out, say your goodbyes, and carry home the memories (and videos) of an unforgettable getaway with the Danger Jones community.

Note: In case of rain, all outdoor events will move indoors.

How to Register

Step 1

Register here. When a room is available, we’ll text & email you a payment link to confirm your booking with a 50% deposit.

Step 2

We will text you an invitation to our private DangerFest Discord Channel.  This is where we'll stay in touch with you regarding any updates or additional details as the event draws nearer.

Step 3

No later than 12/10/25, purchase your flight, and submit both your itinerary and your final payment through the Travel Reservation Link that we'll provide. Once we receive your itinerary and final payment, we’ll send you your final booking confirmation, locking in your attendance.

Important Note: If you don’t submit your flight confirmation and final payment by the 12/10/25 deadline, you’ll forfeit (lose) your 50% deposit, and we will offer the room to one of the artists on the waitlist.  Don’t worry, we’ll be sure to send you a reminder as the deadline date draws nearer.

Do I need a passport?
Yes, Mexico requires a valid passport with space for stamps and an expiration date that is at least 6 months past flight departure. (August 12, 2026 expiration or later).
Who can attend?
This event is for any positive-minded, licensed, and active professional who shares our love and passion for Danger Jones and our community.
what is this event all about?
We created this event to inspire and educate our community and as a way for you to enjoy spending time with others in the Danger Jones community in a fun environment. In the mornings we will have speakers and educators that will educate and inspire you to take your careers and lives to the next level. You’ll also get a transparent look at Danger Jones and learn what’s coming next from those that are shaping our future. In the late afternoons, you’ll have downtime, which you can spend hanging out at the beach, the pool bar, hanging out with your friends, meeting new ones, and/or going on excursions, like jet skiing or parasailing, for example. In the evenings, we have dinners planned. Sunday will be a welcoming pool-side reception dinner party, Monday will be a free night, and Tuesday will be the Family Dinner & Celebratory Party.  All weather permitting.This will not be a Danger Jones educator training.
What is included / Not included
Live Aqua is an all-inclusive resort, therefore the hotel rooms and all meals and drinks are included. Flights to and from Cancun, transportation from the resort back to the airport, and any extra excursions you book are not included.
How do I get to the resort?
We will provide instructions in the near future for connecting with your airport transport driver upon arrival.
How do I select a roommate? Do I need to?
If you opt for a shared double room, you will have the choice to choose a roommate at check out (please work it out with them beforehand), or if you prefer, we are happy to help connect you with one.
Can I extend my trip?
Yes, just let us know if you’d like to pay for a later check out date.
Can I bring my friend/significant other?
This event is for licensed professional stylists only.  You’ll want to spend most of your time with us!
What should I bring?
Attire is casual, but feel free to dress up for the Welcome Reception (usually the more casual of the two) & Family Dinner if you choose.  We recommend packing a bathing suit, sunglasses, lip balm, and sunscreen.
Do I need to bring any hair tools?
No, this is not a hands-on event.
Is this refundable?
To be fair to the other artists, no, this event is not refundable.  We have limited space, so please only reserve your tickets if you’re sure you can join us.
